Hawaii Bill Would Ban Warrantless Stingray Spying, Hinder Federal Surveillance

HONOLULU, Hawaii (Jan. 29, 2019) – A bill introduced in the Hawaii Senate would ban the use of “stingrays” to track the location of phones and sweep up electronic communications without a warrant or court order in most situations.
