STATUS – H732 has been referred to the House Judiciary committee where it will require approval by majority vote before moving on to the full house for consideration.
YOUR ACTION IS NEEDED NOW. It doesn’t matter where in Vermont you live, take these actions today.
1. Call committee chair Lippert of Hinesburg. Politely ask him to move H732 forward to a hearing and vote in his committee. If he does not commit, ask him why. If he’s undecided, let him know you’ll call back in a few days.
2. Call all the rest of the committee members. Strongly, but respectfully, ask them to support and vote YES on H732. If they do not commit to a YES vote, ask them why. If they’re undecided, let them know you’ll call back in a few days.
